The Attributes / Properties window was created to:
- Give the user a convenient dockable window to
easily attribute selected features.
- Display the geometric properties of selected features.
- Support incremented attribution of adjacent features.
The Attributes / Properties window is a dockable window,
which means it can dock to the application or appear
as a free floating dialog. The Attributes / Properties
window has two panels separated by tabs. The Attributes
panel shows table values for selected features, while
the Properties panel displays geometry information
for selected features. Both panels contain a treeview
which lists the selected features separated by feature
class as well as a datagrid modified through the datagrid
on the Attributes panel. The Attributes panel also
supports incremented attribution for a series of selected
features. The incrementing order in which selected
features are listed in the treeview can be ordered
by drag and drop in the tree, ObjectID, or by a linear
path sketched by the user. The Attributes / Properties
window is only available during edit sessions. |
